Dear User, ALUT (hereinafter: the “Association”) respects your privacy, as well as the privacy of all its customers and users of its services (hereinafter: the “User” and/or “Users”) on the website alut.org.il and on social media (hereinafter: the “Platforms”) operated by the Association, as well as those utilizing the services provided on the Platform (hereinafter collectively: the “Services”).
The purpose of the terms detailed in this Privacy Policy, which constitute an integral part of the Website’s Terms of Use, is to detail the information collected about you due to the use of the Services, and to review the manner in which the Association uses the information provided to it and collected by it incidental to the use of the Services. Please note that for specific services and/or applications, different rules may apply, and a specific policy may be published regarding the use of information collected in that application.
The Association is entitled to change the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use from time to time, together or separately, to reflect technological, business, legal, or regulatory changes. Updates regarding the Privacy Policy will be published in this document, which will be found in its updated format on the Platform. Use of the Platform is subject to the current Privacy Policy and indicates your consent to the Privacy Policy and changes thereto – therefore, we recommend reviewing the Privacy Policy from time to time.

The use of the Platform, including browsing it and using the Services provided by the Association, requires the provision of personal information about the Users. Use of the Platform is possible in ‘Guest’ mode or as a registered User. As a registered User, you can enjoy an easier and more convenient browsing experience. For example, you can save certain items in your “Liked items” list, track your purchase history, and make purchases more conveniently and quickly.
Registration: When registering for the Platform, you will be asked to provide personal information: full name and email address. At the end of registration, you will be asked to create a unique password for your user account – this detail must not be shared with others, and you must keep it in your sole possession.
Purchasing: When making a purchase, you will be asked to enter the following details: First name, last name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address (if you are a registered User, these details or some of them may already exist), ID number, and payment details.
Contact: When contacting the Association via feedback form, phone, or email, information related to the correspondence will be collected, including the content provided in the inquiry and the response.
Incomplete Actions: Information about actions not completed within the scope of the Services (e.g., stopping a purchase process in the middle, clicking on banners, etc.).
Technical Data: : Technical information will also be collected: browser type, end-device details, IP address, browsing data, location data, Platform usage habits, including browsing and consumption. This information will be collected using ‘Cookies’ (as detailed in section 4 below).
Social Media:Please note, insofar as you can connect and/or register for the Platform via identification through your social media accounts, such as your personal Facebook account, information about you may be transferred to us, subject to the terms of use and permissions you set in your accounts on these networks (e.g., photos and profile picture, age range, gender, email address, user ID), all in accordance with the terms of the social networks.
All of the above together constitutes part of the collected information. It is clarified that you are not required by law to provide these details, and their provision depends solely on your free will and consent. However, please note that without providing certain details (for example, without entering payment details in a purchase), we will not be able to provide the Services, in whole or in part. All information provided and/or collected about you will be stored in the Association’s registered databases and will be held by it and/or on its behalf, including through “cloud” services, in Israel and/or abroad, including in the USA or the UK. You must provide and/or update correct, reliable, and accurate information on the site, only in your name and for yourself, and not in the name of and/or for third parties, except in cases where you have been explicitly authorized to do so in writing.
The information we collect is intended for the provision of the Association’s Services and the use of the Platform. Information may be used to personalize your browsing experience, the advertisements displayed, offers, and benefits.
We will also collect the information to improve the Services and content offered on the site, as well as to streamline and manage the Association’s relationship with you, for the maintenance and improvement of the Platform, the content displayed therein, the development of additional services and products of the Association, fraud prevention, operations, security, detection of fraud and/or any other illegal activity.

Collection of ID numbers is done solely for payment verification purposes and is deleted from the Association’s databases on a regular basis.
Without derogating from the above, subject to the provision of contact details, the Association shall be entitled to send, from time to time, via email, SMS, chats, and/or other means of communication, marketing and advertising information, offers for benefits, etc., subject to your consent. The User shall be entitled to revoke their consent at any time and cease receiving such information by contacting the address detailed at the end of this policy, or via removal (unsubscribe), in accordance with the instructions of the message sent to them.
The Platform uses digital identifiers, cookies, and similar technologies – such as cookies, pixels, tags, beacons, SDKs (hereinafter collectively: “Cookies”), for its ongoing and proper operation, for security purposes, and to collect statistical data about the use of the Platform, to make decisions regarding you and/or your activity, for verification and identification details, prevention of fraud and scams, to improve the browsing experience and use of the Services on the Platform, while adapting the content and Services to your personal preferences, and to adapt advertisements and content relevant to you.
